About Me

Hello, I'm Victoria Kneller

I have always been one to search for answers, the root cause, and when something is not working, to find something else that did.

My quest to understand why some people fall ill and others don't, and why not everyone can be treated the same way and recover, led me to homeopathy.

One size doesn't fit all; we need to be treated as individuals. When medicine cured only for a short while and then the symptoms resurfaced, I felt there had to be a way to get to the root of the problem and treat it from there.

The moment that changed everything for me was when my second child developed eczema. Having sought conventional treatment and seen the problem resurface time and again, I was advised to consult a homeopath. I never looked back. The eczema cleared from within, no creams, just gentle remedies that healed his skin and calmed his temperament.

My eldest child was suffering with glue ear and was awaiting surgery. I wasn't keen for him to be put under general anaesthetic or for grommets to be inserted. I rushed back to the homeopath and asked for further help. The glue ear which had been going on for many months, cleared within a matter of weeks, to the surprise of the hearing specialists at the hospital. On further examination the glue had gone from both ears and the hearing was back to normal.

I enjoyed attending my childrens homeopathic consultations. The approach was different to what I was used to in healthcare and I loved the mind-body-spirit connection. Being in my mid 40's at this point and with several life challenges, my health was not optimal. The homeopath offered to prescribe for me, and my health subsequently went from strength to strength.

When I mentioned to the homeopath that I was looking for a change of career, she suggested that I would be suited to homeopathy and put me in touch with the college where she had trained 20 years earlier.

I began my training just a few weeks later, attending 120 hours of lectures on Philosophy, Medicine, Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology and Repertory and 100+ hours in clinics following up cases under the supervision of the Homeopathic doctors. It was the journey of a lifetime. I was enthralled with what I was learning - and the questions I had been asking for all those years were finally answered. The mind-body connection does exist, and life experience does have a major impact on health.

I run my practice from my clinic in North Essex. My work is rewarding. I meet people from all walks of life that are being held back by poor health and I assist them on their journey to better well-being. My approach is to listen, clarify, research their case and prescribe and nurture them back to a better place.

Images: On the slopes of Glyder Fawr, Snowdonia, grows the windflower "Pulsatilla"  which is frequently used in homeopathy. People who need Pulsatilla adapt to those around them, just as the flower bends in the wind. These patients always feel better in the open air, even though they are naturally chilly people. Discharges from the nose, ears, eyes etc are thick, bland and yellowish-green. Pains for Pulsatilla people shift rapidly and let up with a snap. Their symptoms are made worse by rich foods, heat and towards evening and are ameliorated by being in the open air, motion, cold application and consuming cold food and drinks. This remedy works well in children, women and at puberty.
